Nuriko does art!  Below is just a small sample of her portfolio.  Click on any picture to be taken to her DeviantArt page.

  • Jeeves Loves Wooster Jeeves Loves Wooster I loooooooooooves me some Jeeves & Wooster, the perfect couple who should remain blissfully together forever, whether or not there's any actual hanky-panky involved. ;)
  • Bad Fairy Bad Fairy "When stuffed animals wish on a star, they don't always get the kindly fairy from the Velveteen Rabbit. Sometimes, they get another kind of fairy entirely."
  • Kizuna Kizuna This is one of my favorite manga of all time, I love ukes that rule from below and semes who are absolutely and adorably dedicated to their partners. And I think it's really cute how all Ranmaru has to do is snap his fingers to get Enjiouji to fall into line. ;)
  • Nightmare Bride Nightmare Bride One of the guests at SacAnime last weekend was Chris Sarandon, who was both Prince Humperdink in The Princess Bride and was the speaking voice of Jack in The Nightmare Before Christmas. I almost never do fanart, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to combine two of my favorite movies... and this particular line from The Princess Bride suggested itself immediately. ;)
  • Repo Family Repo Family The family that repos together, stays together. ;) I love Repo, the Genetic Opera so much it almost hurts. Forget the lame take-off movie featuring Jude Law, it can't even hold a candle to Sarah Brightman singing opera as she plucks her own eyes out. I'm planning on doing a whole series of these.
  • Steampunk Mermaid Steampunk Mermaid This took me something in the realm of eight months to finish... and I'm still not entirely sure that I shouldn't fiddle with it some more. I really need to learn how to do digital artwork in a more timely manner, but it's so much more difficult than traditional work! Being able to zoom in so drastically leads to overwork everything, even stuff that you'd never see unless it was printed out banner-size. :P
